Diana has more than 20 years of combined experience caring for women and their families. Beginning her career as a nurse in Labor and Delivery, then practicing as a Midwife for more than 10 years attending births in the Syracuse area, the importance of women’s health and education has always been her focus. Diana obtained her nursing degree from St. Joseph’s Hospital in 1996, then her baccalaureate degree from SUNY Upstate and Masters in Nurse Midwifery and as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner from SUNY Stonybrook graduating in 2006. Having raised 3 daughters, Diana has an interest in caring for adolescent young women. In addition, she has a strong interest in providing multi-cultural care, currently pursuing a Post Master’s certificate at SUNY Albany in Global Health with focus on decreasing Maternal Mortality. With prior travel to Guatemala and a member of the Department of Global Outreach with the American College of Nurse Midwives, Diana hopes to continue to offer women of all ages exceptional care.
