Rehabilitation at Extended Care (ECF)
We also offer a full complement of rehabilitation services at our skilled nursing facility. The Extended Care Facility prides itself on its excellent therapy services. Our knowledgeable and compassionate staff provide an array of therapeutic programs designed to help residents reach their highest functional ability following surgery, injury, stroke, or other illness.
Occupational Therapy is skilled treatment that provides training in daily living skills to promote maximum independence.
Physical Therapy focuses on strengthening and gait training for safe mobility. Having our short-term residents successfully complete their individualized therapy program and return to their homes is our ultimate goal.
Upon completion of their rehabilitation program at the Extended Care Facility, the patient’s plan of care might also call for continued therapy at our outpatient rehabilitation center, which is located at 221 Broad Street in downtown Oneida.
