JoAnn is a lifelong resident of upstate NY. She started her nursing career in 1986 as a labor and delivery nurse. Her passion for women’s health lead her to pursue a Master’s degree in Science with a certificate in Midwifery, graduating in 2000 from SUNY Stony Brook. Her clinical experience and knowledge in women’s health is extensive. For the past 18+ years she has been passionately caring for and treating women in upstate NY. She previously worked in a full scope OB/GYN practice for 15 years and was also employed as a labor and delivery hospitalist attending births. In her new position as an OB/GYN Nurse Practitioner with Oneida Healthcare, she will providing women of all ages with compassionate and exceptional OB/GYN care. She strives to assist every woman with taking an active role in the decision making process regarding their own health and well-being.
