A free community event in Oneida

Oneida, NY – On August 17, Oneida Healthcare along with many community partners, will be hosting a free public event, “Eat Well, Play Hard – Family Fun Day”, for local families at Vet’s Fields in Oneida from 10am – 1pm, rain or shine.

Oneida Healthcare host this free event for families with infant to school-age children with the goal of promoting healthy lifestyles. Among the many activities at the park, there will be a bike helmet giveaway, while supplies last, Safe Child ID cards, craft projects, a free bag lunch, and lots of physical activities. Information on healthy eating, immunizations, Oneida Healthcare’s Circle of Care and much more will be available that day as well.

Oneida Healthcare has hosted “Eat Well, Play Hard – Family Fun Day” annually since 2015. It was originally organized by the Madison County Health Department with the Healthy Living Partnership. This year’s event is sponsored by Oneida Healthcare and the Gorman Foundation.
