Oneida Hospital Seeking New Volunteers

Kevin ProsserNews, Press Release

Apply Today to Volunteer

Oneida, NY – Oneida Health is recruiting Volunteers! If you have a heart for service and a desire to give back to your community, please consider joining our Volunteer Team!

Volunteers are an integral part of our health care team by assisting with a variety of services that help our staff members provide superior, compassionate person centered care to our patients and their families. We have an array of opportunities available from assisting with patient transport and discharge, clerical duties, special projects and events, greeting and escorting, visiting with patients, and a variety of activities at our Extended Care Facility from reading to providing meaningful activities.

Research has shown that those who volunteer lead healthier, happier lives because they:

  • Enjoy the satisfaction that comes from helping others
  • Meet interesting people and make new friends
  • Learn new skills and experience new ideas
  • Add to the quality of health care for our patients
  • Inspire others
  • Make a difference
  • Most of all … have fun!

So come join Oneida Health and give back to your community by helping us provide exceptional care…always!  For more information, please contact Amanda Ames, Volunteer Coordinator at Oneida Health, at 315-361-2049 or by email at anarrow@oneidahealth.org
